Hello Nishar Ahmed, RPCAU of Pusa, Bihar traces its origin to the agricultural college formed way back in year 1905. Since it became a Central University in 2016, it has tried to develop in all aspects. Over time, placements cell came into existence and also courses of engineering related to agriculture that were the need of the hour. However, placements, which is the USP of engineering colleges these days, took some time to fruictify in this university . In fact placements figures are very dismal when compared with any other engineering college offering standard courses. But this was so since not very many private entities were into research in biotech or even agriculture. This field was mostly occupied by government labs and entities. Now these being public funded, can not select a particular institute for recruiting students. They need to keep the field open for every Indian citizen who has acquired qualifications across India. However students of this central university have indeed bagged appointments in many government labs. 

It's only in recent times that private industry has jumped into the fray and I am sure, as time passes, placements figures are bound to become better and better.

Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University at Pusa, Samastipur in Bihar even though formed in the year 2016, traces its origin to the Agricultural Research Institute and College formed in the year 1905. With such a legacy, it's no surprise that this institution is famous across the world for carrying out pioneering research in the agricultural field. 

It offers two engineering graduation courses in the field of agriculture namely in biotechnology and agriculture. Both these courses are lapped up by the students. This is so since the government is pumping in huge funds in this sector and without proper technology no progress can be achieved. 

To answer your query, yes RPCAU, Pusa, Bihar is indeed a great place to go for BTech in Agriculture or Biotechnology.

Sunandan Divatia School of Science (SDSOS),  students can access a national portal for scholarships from the Government of India and register for the sport to seek scholarships. The school also has tied ups with many banks and financial institutions to provide funding for the successful completion of the course in the school. These can be accessed either during the admission process or even after the admission has been confirmed and taken.

It is quite difficult to say which of the courses this school offers is the best. This is so on more than one count. Firstly the courses can be divided into graduation, or post graduation, or doctoral studies, or graduation cum post graduation and lastly post graduation cum doctoral studies. Now the students who will seek admission for these courses will have different backgrounds. Some of them could be just passing out of 12th some could be graduates and some could be even post graduates. This then follows that their experiences in life, their requirements in life will be totally different from each other. Also, the maturity levels will be quite different. However, knowing the Pedigree of this Institute and of course the university of which this school is a part tells us that a student can be rest assured of a 360 degrees experience after joining this school. Be that as it may if we go by the number of students seeking admission then of course the graduation courses of BSc beat other courses by a large margin.

The case of Nursee Monjee Institute of Management Studies deemed to be University's Sunandan Divatia School of Science is indeed very interesting and peculiar. This school has stated in its prospectus that it will not declare the vacancies in each of the two B.Sc courses in advance but they will do so only at the time of acceptance of registration by the students. Not only this but they have further stated that if for any reason registrations for any course are less than 30 then they reserve the right to cancel that course altogether. Because of this unique and peculiar stance of the unit School knowing the position of previous years is not of much value. However just for the record, in the previous year, they declared the vacancies of 120 and 60 for the two BSc courses.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, no Sunandan Diva Diya School of Science which is part of the deemed university of NMIMS gives admissions to the two BSc courses that it runs on the basis of admission test conducted by the University. Students who have passed 12th standard or who have appeared for 12th standard or equivalent examination of any board are eligible to appear for this test with certain additional restrictions like age and marks scored in the examination. Details of the admission process where registration is to be done online and also the syllabus for the entrance examination are available on the web page of the deemed to the university. This university does not admit students directly but only through entrance examination.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Nursee Monjee Institute of Business Studies is deemed to be university. It has obtained Grade 1 certification from UGC. This means academics and other systems of this university are excellent. SDSOS is affiliated/ part of this university. This means excellent in academics and all allied issues. On top of it, it's located in one of the costliest suburbs of Mumbai i.e. Vileparle. Considering all these parameters, fees of about 2L  per annum in Mumbai campus is not much. It's very reasonable. However living expenses will be quite a bit if compared with even a district place in Maharashtra. In that respect yes, pursuing BSc would be expensive but it still is reasonable and not excessive.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, a very interesting query but I am afraid there are no clear cut answers or no clear cut conclusions. Firstly placements data of BSc courses of any college is very shaky and secondly analysis or conclusions based on very few placements will not actually reveal anything. SDSOS gives out data of placements and packages only for PG students. Some sources though give out figures of 5LPA or 7LPA as the highest package. But authentication is not feasible. Suffice to say that it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. But all said and done, credentials of the NMIMS, the deemed to be university to which SDSOS is affiliated, are indeed impeccable and one needs not have any doubts whatsoever about the quality of staff and facilities provided to the students. 

My advice is to get admission without bothering about placements or packages at placements.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Sunandan Divatia School of Science of NMIMS, the famous deemed to be university in Mumbai, is indeed a great inspiring institute. It provides assistance to students in making them confident to face recruiters. It's successful in getting students placed in summer internships also. Inspite all these systems in place, not many students graduating in different branches are getting placed. However the institute is able to place just less than half of the students of its post graduate courses. The data put out by the institute on placements talks only of placements of PG students and is silent on undergraduate students. This may not be viewed against the institute since recruiters normally are looking at only engineering graduates of MBA students and they give go by to other streams. Be that as it may, concern of management in taking all feasible and possible steps is quite evident and students thinking of joining this institution can be assured of this.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Sunandan Divatia School of Science is part of the Mumbai campus of the deemed to be university, Nursy Monjee Institute of Management Studies or NMIMS in short. It became deemed to be university in year 2003 and obtained coveted Grade 1 status in 2018. 

     This school of Science located in Mumbai subarb of Vileparle, started accepting students from the academic year 2007-2008. This is indeed one of the most sought after institution in the whole of Mumbai. It's great value for money. Students are prepared to be part of any research institute or the industry . One can join this institution without any hesitation whatsoever.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, for admissions into engineering graduations of various streams Glocal University conducts its own entrance exam called Glocal Aptitude Test or GAT -UG. Be that as it may the university also accepts ranking obtained in JEE Mains examination. It is pertinent here to state that the university gives admissions to foreign nationals also. In their case they need not appear for any entrance exam and they are given admission directly based on the scores they have obtained in the equivalent examination in their country of 10 + 2. Suffice to say that only those students who have scored 50% marks in PCM in 10th and 12th are eligible to appear for this GAT. Of course candidates belonging to SC and ST categories are given a concession of 5%.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, it's quite a tough query to answer. This is so because it's pretty subjective. One may find nursing as best, while some may find BAMS, some can say pharmacy while others may say engineering. My personal opinion is that universitiy's school of technology and computer sciences is perhaps the best. It offers graduation in different and unique streams of computer sciences engineering. University boasts of state of the art labs and facilities in this school. But then so is the case with other schools too. If I may say so, all round development of students of all courses is the priority of this private University and hence all students get unique experience irrespective of the course.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, this private university formed in the year 2011, in Saharanpur, UP is spread across almost 350 acres of green campus. The university provides lots of facilities for the benefit of students. It has state-of-the-art labs and classrooms. It also boasts of vibrant placement cells. 

         It offers more than 55 different courses, under eight different schools. School of Technology and computer sciences is the one that provides graduation, PG, doctoral, and also Diploma courses in different branches of engineering. Considering all these facilities that this university provides, an expense of about INR 4 Lacs for a four-year degree course in engineering is not much. It can be called quite reasonable.

Glocal University of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh is quite well known in that area. Spread over the lush green campus of around 350 acres, it boasts state-of-the-art facilities for students. Its BTech in computer sciences with four different specializations is the USP of this Institute. Its vibrant placements cell can bring in more than 500 recruiters during placements season. From the data available, it can be seen that almost 45% of students get placed, which can be considered as a very good performance. It reported the highest package of around INR 18LPA while the median package reported was about INR 4.5LPA. In addition, with each passing year, the number of students placed shows an increasing trend along with better median, the highest, and the lowest packages too.

  This appears to be quite a good situation.

Glocal University was established as a Private University in 2011 in a place called Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. With about 350 acres of lush green campus and state of the art facilities the University definitely has come a long way from its establishment. However the University has been unable to progress much in the ranking across universities in India and currently it ranks just below 400. It offers more than 75 different courses across its different schools in the same campus. For getting admission into its School of Technology and Computer Sciences, prospective students have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by this university. It offers core subjects such as civil mechanical electrical etc. but more importantly, it offers various varieties of disciplines in computer science engineering which is perhaps the USP of this university. Unfortunately maybe because of the location or some other factors it is able to place just about 45% students at the undergraduate level during the placement season and also the median package of about 4.5 LPA is not much to talk about. Students these days look for colleges which offer better placement percentages and also better packages and because of this, perhaps, this university does not rank very high in the choices of students. However with a record of good faculty, state of the art facilities and very reasonable fees this global for local or Glocal University is definitely a good choice for students to pursue their dream of becoming an engineer.
