To be eligible for admission to the course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on scores obtained in the TS EAMCET exam, 30% of the seats are reserved for direct admission under the management quota.

The TSICET exam is conducted by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
