Usually, for B.E./B-Tech programs candidates are selected on the basis of counseling in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA )which is determined by their marks in 10+2 (PCM). Minimum aggregate 45% for general category students and around 40% for the reserved categories. The college also has direct admissions in Management quota.

Yes, you can get direct admission to Er. Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering. The institution offers only BTech, MTech, MCA, and MBA. To be eligible for admission to any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in the previous qualification in a relevant stream from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on scores obtained in TNEA counseling for BTech, TANCET for MBA and MCA, and GATE for MTech. There are some seats reserved for direct admission under the management quota.
