The scholarships are given on the basis of marks received in the qualifying exam, the scholarship amount varying with increasing marks. Yes, there are scholarships available at the Takshshila Institute of Engineering and Technology. They don't provide any scholarship from there side but any national or state level scholarship can be availed at the institute. The amount of scholarships varies based on various criteria such as the category to which the student belongs, the financial condition of the student, scores obtained by the student in the entrance exam, or the previous qualification, etc.

There is no issue in quality of food at Takshshila Institute of Engineereing and Technology. Rather, I would like to say that it pretty good. You can even ask for your choice of food from the mess. They will charge you a bit extra for that but you can get your choice of food also at the hostel mess. There is cafeteria that provides you with good quality snacks.

Every necessary facility is offered at Takshshila Institute of Engineering and Technology. You are provided with hostels if you want, library, sports complex, wifi is available around the campus, cafeteria, well-equipped labs, pharmacy and medical help, a decent auditorium, A/C clasrooms and a shopping complex for your daily needs.

Yes, there is a placement cell available at Takshshila Institute of Engineering and Technology. The placement record is average. For the B.Tech programme 60% of students got placed. The highest package offered was around INR 6 LPA and the average package offered is INR 3 LPA.

You cannot be admitted based on your board exam scores. Admission is based on your JEE Main rank and your board performance. Then they have a centralized counseling procedure conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Bhopal. So the students have to appear for the JEE Main or any other entrance test accepted by the institute to seek admission into the B.Tech course in the institute.
