The highest package offered till now for BTech students is INR 5 LPA, and the average package is around INR 2-3 LPA. More than 60% of the students get placed every year. Some top recruiting companies include Allsec, Zealous, Span Technologies, Aqua, etc.

The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for Jayalakshmi Institute of Technology (JIT Dharmapuri). Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024.
