Yes, MITE - Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering has good and experienced faculty. Many faculty members of MITE are experienced in teaching and also have prior industrial experience in their field. Also, the faculty at MITE has over 10 years of experience, and many have PhDs. MITE also recruits a mix of faculty with industry experience and those with research backgrounds in their field. The cutoff marks for getting admission in MITE - Manglore Institute of Technology and Engineering is generally dependent on the type of course you want to get admission.

For UG course the result of KCET taken in consideration . In session 2024 for 2A general category closing ranks ranged from 36096 to 84308 in Round 3.

For Mtech in computer Science and engineering :- Round 1 closing rank: 6260, Round 2 closing rank: 5802

For MBA programs :- Round 1 closing rank: 10197, Round 2 closing rank: 10321

Yes you can get direct admission to MITE ( Manglore institute of technology and engineering) through various exams like KCET (Karnataka CET) or COMEDK UGET followed by counselling for undergraduate admissions.

They mainly focus on management quotas and sponsored seats for B.Tech and PG programs.

Most people agree that the food in the MITE hostel mess is of a good quality.  Students can choose from a variety of regionally-specific vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal alternatives.  The meal is served four times a day and is cooked hygienically.  Although the majority of students found the meals to be satisfactory, some have occasionally complained about the food's taste or oiliness.  The overall goal of the mess is to serve wholesome, diverse meals to promote the wellbeing of the students.
