VVCE offers direct admission under the Management Quota for B.E. / B.Tech programs. Candidates must:

• Eligibility: Meet the minimum academic requirements as specified by the college.

• Application: Obtain the application form from the VVCE admission office or download it from the official website.

• Selection: Admission is based on merit, considering academic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.

Admission Pathways

1. TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions):

   • VVCE participates in the TNEA centralized counseling process.

   • Eligibility: Minimum 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 for General Category; 40% for BC/MBC/DNC; 35% for SC/SCA/ST.

Cutoff ranks vary by course and category.

1. Management Quota:

   • Seats are available under the Management Quota for students who may not have secured a seat through TNEA.

   • Admission is based on merit, considering academic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.

   • The process is generally straightforward, with no entrance exams required.

Application Process:

• Obtain the application form from the VVCE Admission Office or download it from the official website.

• Submit the completed form along with the required documents and application fee.

• Documents typically include:

  • Class 10th and 12th marksheets

  • Transfer Certificate (TC)

  • Community Certificate (if applicable)

  • Nativity Certificate (if applicable)

  • Passport-size photographs

  • Aadhaar Card

All original certificates should be submitted at the time of admission.

• B.E. / B.Tech (Undergraduate Engineering Courses): The application window for these courses typically opens in May and closes in June. For the 2025 session, the application dates are expected to be from May 6 to June 11, 2025. 

• M.E. / M.Tech (Postgraduate Engineering Courses): Applications are usually accepted from April 15 to May 14. For the 2025 session, the application dates are expected to be from April 15 to May 14, 2025.

•  

• Admission-Based Scholarship: Students are awarded a scholarship based on their 12th-grade marks. The scholarship amount is calculated as (Merit Marks * ?100). Note that this scholarship is not available for TFWS, ICCR, or free ship card students, and applicants must have at least 50 merit marks.

• GTU End-Semester Examination Scholarship: The college provides a scholarship amount of INR 25,000 to the first-ranked student in each branch based on the GTU end-semester examination result. 

• Final Year CGPA Top 10 Scholarship: Students who rank in the top 10 CGPA in their final year are eligible for additional scholarships.

• Central Government Scholarships: Students belonging to BC, MBC, SC, and ST categories are eligible for scholarships from the Government of India, such as the Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities and the AMM Foundation Scholarship. 

• State Government Scholarships: The Tamil Nadu Government offers scholarships for students in BC, MBC, SC, and ST categories.

• Hygienic Preparation: The centralized kitchen employs modern cooking equipment and uses steam and gas for cooking, ensuring cleanliness and quality. 

• Regional Cuisine: To cater to the diverse student body, the mess offers Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and North Indian food. If demand arises, Andhra-style food can also be served.

• Meal Timings and Options: Meals are served three times a day, with evening tea and snacks provided. The mess aims to keep the bill affordable by minimizing wastage and promoting the economical use of resources.

Academic & Learning Facilities

• Classrooms & Computer Labs: Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids. Computer labs are available with internet access, supporting practical learning. 

• Library: The central library houses over 18,000 volumes and subscribes to 160 national and international journals, providing a rich resource for students and faculty.

• Laboratories: The college boasts well-equipped labs across various disciplines, enabling students to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills.

The Placement Cell conducts various training programs and activities to prepare students for the recruitment process  Communicative English Training: A 48-hour programme for first-year students to enhance their communication skills.                Career Awareness Camp: A two-day camp for second-year students to provide awareness on various career choices.

VVCE fees vary by course and quota. For B.E./B.Tech, fees range from INR 83,500 to 8.88 Lacs per year. M.Tech fees are around INR 65,500 to 68,500 per year. MBA total fees are about INR 2.4 lakh. Fees depend on the programme and admission category.

The B.E./B.Tech. fees at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, vary based on the specialisation and admission quota. For the 2025–2026 academic year, the first-year fees range from INR 3.12 Lacs to 12.75 lakh. The total course fees for the entire 4-year programme range from INR 12.48 Lacs to 14 lakh.
