Admission for BA in DAV will be tough with 51% marks however it depends on many factors. If you belong to Chandigarh and don't have any kind of quota then you may get admission in third round of counselling. If you have non-UT pool and you don't have any quota you mayn't get admission. However, there is always a chance of vacant seats or left over seats and the subject combination you choose. So, you may get admission in DAV 10, Chandigarh. Just fil

YMCA is much better option than IPU. YMCA is NAAC and NBA accredited and after NIT Kurukshetra, it is the top-rated premium institute in Haryana. The placement percentage is also very high.

Nautical science - It has the potential to deliver good careers.
Other than all the glittery and glory stuff mention along with it. Truth is it works only if you get your first break spot on eg. You get to complete cadetship without delay. For me to complete 18 months sea time it took 5 years. Recession+agents loots+company waiting period as no cargo and ship were sold.
All the stuff people say like package of 1020k USD, it's not true. You get it once you have experience of Masters for 10 years or more. Plus nor people get silver line careers like LNG/LPG.
