After the declaration of MAT result, candidates can start applying to the colleges they have shortlisted for pursuing MBA/PGDM. AIMA will send candidate's scores to the participating B-Schools that they shall have selected in their MAT application form. The MBA colleges will then shortlist candidates for the admission process and call candidates for further rounds. If candidates want to apply at colleges other than those five, then they will have to fill the application form for those other colleges individually. The admission process includes, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates can start preparing for the GD/PI round before or after the MAT result announcement. They can join online platforms or coaching institutes group discussion and PI preparation. Those who are not happy with their MAT score can attempt again in the next session and improve their score. MAT exam result is released in online mode only. Given below is the process to download the MAT scorecard:

Open the official website of AIMA MAT: https://mat.aima.in/

Login with registration number and email ID

Select Exam Month

Click on ‘scorecard’ option given in dashboard

MAT result will appear on the screen

Click on download option and save your MAT scorecard

The MAT exam result will contain candidate details and their MAT percentile. Post the declaration of result, candidates will get call for admission from the colleges they had selected in the MAT application form. They will get the call, only if they will meet the MAT cut off fixed by the institutes for admission.

Some tips that I would like to give to a first-year student studying in my college are as follows:-

Don't depend on the professors or the teachers for the study material. Try to make your own notes.

If you think that the whole syllabus will be taught in the class then you are wrong. You have to put in some extra effort yourself to do it.

Frankly speaking, the classes here are not so regular. Hence, I advise you to give your main focus on self-study.

Many curricular activities take place round the year. So, you may participate in the activities that you like.

Lastly, I will say that the university provides good education and curriculum so you will have good all-round development over here.
