Admission to PhD is based on NET/ SET/ GATE score. University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata offers a full-time/ part-time/ integrated PhD programme with different specialisations. The duration of PhD course varies between three and six years duration. Candidates must complete a master's degree or PG diploma/ degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate to apply for the PhD course. 

To take admission to the MBA course, NYIT admission requirements are given below:

• The applicants are required to have a BS degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university
• Minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA
• GMAT score is not required, but is accepted in exceptional cases
• Completed application and submission of application fee
• Copies of undergraduate transcripts
• Copy of College Diploma or proof of degree

NYIT has mentioned that as such GMAT is not requirement for MBA admission. It can be submitted toward the fulfillment of the MBA admissions criteria if the applicant’s undergraduate GPA is below 3.0. Note that the applicants are considered for admission if they receive a satisfactory composite GMAT score, which will be determined by the graduate faculty and will consist of a numerical calculation of the applicants’ undergraduate GPA and GMAT score.

The MBA programme of the New York Institute of Technology is STEM-certified. International students are granted three years of OPT. The total tuition fee for BBA course is INR 3.38 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates who will qualify all the selection rounds for BBA admission will be required to pay the course to confirm their seat in the institute. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.
