To the best of my knowledge, the percentage in the 12th class depends on the programme you are selecting at LPU. For example. LPU needs 60% for BTech, 50% for BBA/BCA, pass marks for BA, and so on. So, I recommend you to visit the LPU website once for more details and programmes.
LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees.
Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now.
Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility.
Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world.

Generally, candidates join lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in any engineering field to get direct entry into the second year.
So, after completing diploma in Computer Science engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course in the related field. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
