International students seeking admission at the University of St. Gallen are required to satisfy the course-specific eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university to secure their candidature in the desired course. Additionally, international students are also required to submit proof of their linguistic proficiency via the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The valid score as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) can be course-specific. However, as per the guidelines of the University of St. Gallen, the average Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) score accepted by the University of St. Gallen is C1 which is equivalent to a 7 IELTS band. Hence, a 5.5 IELTS score is not enough to get you into the University of St. Gallen.  

The University of St. Gallen offers various scholarships and student loans to domestic as well as international students. The University of St. Gallen does not mention the specific score requirement for students to avail scholarships. However, the scholarship and loan funds provided by the University of St. Gallen to students are subject to be returned after the completion of the programme. The is no interest charged upon the financial help given by the university to the student, however, the interest rate is applicable is a student fails to repay the amount within five years after the completion of the programme. It is mandatory for international as well as for Indian students to enrol regularly in the academic session or at least must be enrolled for a minimum of one semester to be eligible for any kind of financial support from the University of St. Gallen.

In addition to your MH CET Law admit card, you will need to carry the following documents and objects to the exam center:

• A valid identity proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/Passport/Driving Licence)
• One passport size photograph (the same one that you uploaded with your application form)
• A pen and a pencil

You may also need to carry the following documents, depending on your eligibility category:

• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)

It is advisable to reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam. This will give you enough time to check in and find your seat.

Please note that you will not be allowed to carry any electronic devices or other study materials into the exam hall.

The University of St. Gallen provides scholarships to domestic as well as international students at the assessment level, bachelor's level and students at master's level. Typically, the scholarship and loan payments are paid out from the second regular academic semester. International or domestic students can apply for scholarships to study at the University of St. Gallen via the Advice Centre for Study Funding. All international students at the assessment level, bachelor's level and students at the master's level are eligible to apply for the top-up bursary which is CHF 1,900 per semester (INR 1.75 Lacs approximately). Students with difficulties paying the tuition fee and are under a dire financial burden can apply for a partial or full tuition waiver. Please note that tuition waivers are granted entirely at the discretion of the university think tank. Students who are not regularly enrolled in the University of St. Gallen are au; automatically excluded from the eligibility.

The University of St. Gallen accepts admission applications across the globe for its wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. An average Indian student who wishes to pursue higher education at the University of St. Gallen can surely join the university. However, it is important to note that the student is required to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university concerning the desired course. Additionally, since the student is from India, which is a non-English speaking country (primarily), the student is required to demonstrate language proficiency as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages by scoring a minimum of C1 grade.
