B.Sc (Hons) is much more specialized as compared to the B.Sc (General) degree, and academically, B.Sc (Hons) is a more standard degree as compared to B.Sc (general). If you want to study any one of the main sciences (eg. chemistry, physics, mathematics etc.) in detail, it is advisable to go for a B.Sc (Hons) course. But if you want a more balanced and multi-disciplinary approach, it is better to pursue a B.Sc (General) course for under-graduate studies.

In other logical words, biotechnology = biology + technology.
When we use the technology to understand, study, and research & development the bio-organism, micro-organism, living cell functions and related subjects, we need to have a sound knowledge of technology and biology.
One can find jobs as microbiologist, lab technicians, botany specialist, biotechnologist, research scientist, teacher/professor, quality control officer and many more.
We might work to clone animals, develop new pharmaceutical drugs, creating new seed lines or testing new soil composition and so much more.

The main difference between M.Tech and MS lies in the study orientation and pattern of both the programmes. While M.Tech is more detailed, more theoretical and demands regular attendance, MS is a self-study program and is more practical based. The duration to complete M.Tech is 2-years, while MS can be completed in 3 to 4 years depending on the completion of the project.

GRE is definitely mandatory for admission in most universities for a course in MS. However, TOEFL is a language proficiency test and is not required if the medium of instruction was English in your school. However, it is always best to check for admission requirements of the school you are interested in, as admission requirements may vary from institute to institute. Please refer to the link provided below for an exhaustive list of colleges which offer courses in MS in US.

Just enroll in some good speaking classes. Mainly focus is on three things writing, reading and speaking. You need to require minimum 6 bands in each of them. When you feel confident that you can speak English with ease. You can go for the test. Exam fee is about rupees 12000 and exam takes place every month.
Good luck.
