You can start preparing for CAT 2015, by that time you will have an adequete experience. Genrally 1-2 years can be considered as optimum experience. Regarding HR and Finance, both need a different orientation. you will get enough time in your first year to understand your skills and interest and thus take the stream that suits you.

Yes John, it varies but the maximum time would be 5:30 p.m. Placements are picking up, the market is not going very good at the moment so it is affecting placements a bit. We do not have uniforms, however we are expected to wear formals from Mon-Thu and on Fri-Sat we are allowed to wear casuals (Jeans, Collar t-shirts).

While the option to pursue a fast track graduation is available in our country today, however, it is not as yet widely accepted. Some organizations and certain post graduate programs (like MBA) do not recognize the 1 year graduation. Therefore do consider your future career goals before opting for this option.
