There are 2 modes of admission - Merit or Direct and Entrance exam. Candidates who have not graduated from the University of Delhi, have to apply through Entrance mode. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test or marks obtained in graduation depending on the mode of admission.
BA / BA (Hons) marks obtained 60% required for admission.
If you are a Graduate in B.A. honors Political Science from the University of Delhi, then you can take admission based on merit. But if you are not an honors graduate then you will have to give entrance to take admission in the Master's program at Delhi University.
There are a total of 502 seats for Masters in Political Science at DU, out of these 502 seats 50% of the seats are reserved for DU graduates for Merit-Based Intake and 50% of seats are being open to all the contestants i.e through Entrance Test.
