Yes, a commerce student with Mathematics can apply for the B.Arch program at Lovely Professional University (LPU), provided certain eligibility criteria are met. According to the Council of Architecture (COA) norms followed by LPU, the applicant must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks in five subjects, which must include Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects. In addition to these, the candidate should have studied at least one more academic or vocational subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Business Studies, Engineering Graphics, or Informatics Practices. Most importantly, the student must qualify in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), which is mandatory for admission into any architecture program in India. Alternatively, a valid score in JEE Main Paper II (Architecture) is also accepted. Therefore, even as a commerce student, if you have studied Mathematics and meet the subject and entrance exam requirements, you are eligible to pursue B.Arch at LPU.
