IITs are the best government engineering colleges in India.
After that NITs, IIITs also some state and central funded technical institutes are best for engineering in India.

Hi Subhankar.
To get admission in genetic engineering you should be Maths,Physics, Chemistry and Biology student. In XII you must get atleast 90% above where there is only limited seats for the same.
In entrance exam you must get 90% to get admission. The fees you should ask the college.
