See, it totally depends on you. Really. Let's take my example, I had never studied like IIT in 11-12, but I have confident in me, because I know I had not studied properly and I can break it if I study well. So I take a drop and changed my city because that city was now highly distractful for me. And here I am (NIT-B). So it totally depends on you what you think from inside, Taking a drop in not a bad option if you are not happy with your marks and you think you can increase it more. If you get one more chance.

eligibility criteria: Graduate in any discipline, from a recognized University. Min 50% for regular and 45% for category students

The difficulty level of NCHMCT JEE exam is not so tough in comparison to other entrance exams and you can passed it very easily. So just focus on NCHMCT JEE exam syllabus and spent two to three hours daily, you will definitely get the success.

Yes, you can take admission in Amity University with these marks, if you have cleared all the subjects. Also, you should apply for Amity University JEE for B.Tech admission to get some scholarships. Otherwise, you can take admission directly. Best of luck.
