Hi, In engineering there are many branches- Electrical&Electronics, electronics & Communication, Civil, mechanical, CS, Information Technology. Selecting a line basically depends on a individuals interest, abilities, and long term goals. At present you would do well to focus your energy on 12th std exams. Students often accept a branch that they don&#xu2;019t prefer in the hope of a) making a change after the first year b) entering software after graduation. However, before you take such a decision, please ensure that you have fully explored career opportunities in the different branches of engineering. All the domains in engineering lead to different careers. Each field has its own scope and job prospects. If you are interested in computer field then CS or IT would be the choice, if you have a passion for construction the probably civil and if you have a interest in machines then Mechanical line would be apt. The choice is finally yours, depending on your inner desire and core strengths.
