Eligibility criteria for M.SC Economics at London School of Economics:
*Entrance Requirements for Indian Students-
To be considered for admission to the Graduate School we require a bachelor's degree with 70% for students attending the top ranked institutions.
Where a GPA system is used we require 5.5/7, 6.5/7 or 7.5/9. Applicants should have completed a minimum of three years of study.
*General Entrance Requirements-
One year/research – first class honors with concentration on economics and quantitative subjects and at least a year of calculus and statistics.

Pursuing studies abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a MBA degree from abroad are:
- Getting a better quality of education.
- Improves career opportunities.
- Broaden international experience.
- Gaining exposure to different cultures.
However, please remember in order to pursue MBA from good universities abroad , you need to have atleast 3-4 years of full time work experience after graduation.
Besides work experience you also need to have very good academic record, preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned test:
1. GMAT.
2. IELTS or TOEFL.

It offers its distance courses under Directorate of Distance Education. So you can try for government jobs.
A candidate with B.Com can submit an application to various jobs under the UPSC, SSC, IFS, Banks, Postal service, Railways, Defense, and State PCS etc.
