Hi Swathi,
I would however recommend to pursue an M Phil degree and maybe follow it with a PhD in case you wish to pursue a career as a lecturer/ professor in a college. The latter two of course can even be done along with your job.
Any post graduate degree in technical field which is recognized by the UGC will make one eligible for lectureship provided one has a certificate of eligibility for lectureship, the National Eligibility Test (NET) from the University Grants Commission or the SET.
Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Lectureship are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Lecturers of the concer
