Hi Samreen, First of all, to appear for the NET exam, you need to complete post-graduation degree, which is minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the UGC NET exam. The UGC NET exam is held twice a year for the selection of candidates for lectureship and JRF. The candidates can apply for their post-graduate subject or its related subjects only.
