Yes, you can opt for an MSc in Botany after completing your BSc Biotechnology program. Hello, technically speaking diploma is equivalent to 12th. The issue is, is it equivalent to 12th with PCM? There is no clear answer. Some institutes do accept. I am sure Carver too will accept. I would, therefore, like to advise you to contact the admissions in charge of the academy and pose your query to get an authentic answer. For joining IIT, a Diploma is accepted as equivalent to class 12th. Best wishes to you.
