First thing you should do is to BELIEVE ME, same was the case with my elder brother, only I knew his condition and no family member. HE DID SMART WORK , NOT HARD WORK AND GOT cgpa 8 in B.Tech.
Strategies :
Chill and Pamper yourself, you have done no crime, no sin. just could not manage time. There are ways to recover it follow the following methods.
1) Listen to you tube lecture on the topics and make power point lecture notes using wikipedia , etc.
2) Arrange seniors notes and start following.
3) Keep distance from those who waste your time.
4) have less chocolate and caffiene in the evening and more during day to counter act BPO related body clock disturbance.
5) If you have access to computer and ear phone you can study or listen to audio notes parallel to doing chat process or voice process intervally what so ever.
6) use break, commuting / journey time to revise written notes.
7) Indian writers' book are very exam friendly , purchase refreshers and make quotta to complete portion of more than pass mark and do it during week ends.
8) Take this challenge. YOU ARE AN 11 TH HOUR CHAMPION.
9) give a start,
10) Enjoy yourself as much as possible but don't waste time with friends.
11) I will pray for you, and i am sure you will get through ALL BACKLOGS in one go.

Hi Yellamelli you are thinking in the wrong direction. I had 13 backlogs in my BSc ( Computer Science ) from Kishinchand Chellaram College Mumbai University. I could finish my 3 year degree course in 5.5 years. I gave my final year exams thrice and just managed to pass it after lot of slogging. Going by that calculation I should also not have lived on earth almost 4 years ago. But, I am still there, having a work experience of 4 years in corporate world and worked with companies like Streamz Global Services, IBM Global Services and currently Edupristine.com. Even my friends, family and relatives were not aware of my situation. First of all I would advise you to keep calm and patience. There is a practical solution for every wrong or problem we have in our academics, professional or personal life. Please continue to work in BPO as you will keep yourself occupied and financially strong also. You will have to follow some steps to get yourself out of this issue. First of all prepare a list of most trusty friends, cousins and relatives you have. It could be your school teacher, professor in college or even a neighbour whom you can trust. Then approach them and share everything you have in your mind and heart. This will help you release your tensions and get rid of the guilt feeling. Then convince them to speak to your parents on your behalf. This will help you in tackling your parents. After you get rid of all this then make a list of backlogs, contact the university and college to know the maximum time frame you can get to clear these. Register for 2 backlogs every 6 months and silently complete your BTech. Please remember one thing. Only the opinion of your parents should matter to you and nobody else. Wish you all the best and good luck. After following everything if you even get stuck then you will have to approach a professional career counselor in your city to get direct face to face help.
