In my opinion, focus more on getting a B.Tech with a good percentage. A B.Tech degree is of 4 years, each year getting more precise study and hard work. If you have time during this course of study, then only make a schedule to prepare for management entrance exam. Think before you leap.

There is no need of dropping a year. You will get plenty of time to think in your free time. Moreover, education does not curb free thinking, it only broadens your ability to think and make a career. You would only waste a year by not doing anything. Please give it a second thought. Regards.

Hello!
Unfortunately, with those low scores, you cannot get an interview call from even a decent college. And the others from which you might get would be simply below-average. I suggest you either reappear for these exams or focus on the other upcoming exams like CET and MAT.
Good luck!
