There is no negative marking in the TNPSC Group 2 exam for the incorrect answers. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission deduct the marks on providing the incorrect information as per the following points.

• In case of non-personalised OMR answer sheet, two marks will be deducted for writing the register number incorrectly.
• In case number of [As], [Bs], [Cs], [Ds] and [Es] count wrongly mentioned / not shaded / incorrectly shaded by the candidate in the Part – II of the OMR Answer Sheet, two marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
• None of the answer bubbles is shaded for even one question by the candidate, two marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
• In case of absence of Candidates left thumb impression in answered portion of the OMR answer sheet, two marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
• If the Question Booklet Number is not written or partially written in the space provided, five marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidates.

The TNPSC Group 2 Exam is a competitive exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) for recruitment to various posts in the Tamil Nadu state government. The exam consists of Preliminary and Main Examinations, followed by an interview for certain posts.

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):
