The admissions to the university are both merit & entrance based on the courses. The admissions for BSc & BDes courses are merit base followed by interview. For BCA courses ACET exam score & interview is considered. High competition & limited number of seats can make it difficult for students to get into the university.

Currently, ATMA registrations for the academic year 2026 are open. ATMA is an accepted entrance exam for SVIMS Business School PGDM admissions thus, candidates might be able to appear in that exam and apply through those scores.

Other exams such as MAH-CET are also another option still open to candidates for 2026 PGDM admissions.
