2) Private Bank or Public Sector Banks – The next step is to decide whether you are looking for a Govt Sector Bank or a Private Sector. The hiring procedure in both these sectors is very different from each other. If you wish to apply for a public sector bank, you will need to prepare for IBPS Exam or other Bank Exam. IBPS Exam is mandatory for candidates who want to apply with 20 Public Sector Banks.
SBI & IDBI are 2 banks which do not hire through IBPS. State Bank of India conducts recruitment procedure by themselves ie A Written Test & Personal Interview and do not rely on any external agency to conduct test on their behalf.
Private Banks – If you wish to apply for Private Banking Sector, you should search on various job sites like Naukri.com, news paper advertisements or check the bank website career section. Banks like ICICI have a dedicated portal only for hiring, ICICI Careers, where you can search for opportunities and apply online. An even easier option is to enroll for a PO Program, conducted by private banks along with education institutes (like Sikkim Manipal), and after completing the program, candidates are absorbed within the banking organization. There are various such program like ICICI PO, Axis Bank Young Bankers Program, Ing Vysya Bank PO Recruitment etc which are for approximately for 18 months duration, and on completion banks hire the candidates who have successfully completed it.
Private Banks – Easy to get, hard to survive; you enrol for a PO program and join the bank but remember this job may not be as easy as it sounds, long working hours is a common complaint with most of the employees.

Law School Admission Test (ISAT) is a standardized test to assess ones aptitude for studying Law. ISAT is an integral part of admission process for law schools in United States, Canada and some other countries abroad. ISAT is mandatory for admission to law schools affiliated to American Bar Association (ABA) and Canadian Common Law Schools. The test was created in the year 1948 as a measure to provide the Law schools with a standardized way to test candidates in addition to their GPA. A perfect score on the ISAT is 180, and the lowest is 120. The average score of ISAT test takers is right around 150. But the ISAT score you need to get into law schools is generally above that average and how much above depends on how selective of a school it is. So, ISAT score above 162 can be good enough for getting a good law college.
