The main difference lies in their purpose and target audience. PTE Academic is for global university study and professional registration. PTE Core is for Canadian immigration (PR and citizenship). PTE Academic UKVI is identical to Academic but specifically required for UK visas and immigration.

PTE Academic is required to study degree-level and above courses abroad, while the PTE Academic UKVI is for below-degree-level courses
