Before CUET was introduced, taking economics after PCM was allowed and you would have had to face a 2.5 reduction in your percentage. The only requirement was that you had mathematics in class 11 and 12. However, now, there is a new criteria for BA Economics Honours. You need to appear for both Economics and Maths in CUET to get economics honours. Hi there, calculating marks from the rank is something that is not possible. You can get somewhat of an estimate but there is no way to know if it will be correct or not. There are some estimators that can be used to get your predicted rank by your marks but not one for vice versa. Your rank depends on your competitors and yourself while your marks depend upon the difficulty level as well. For IAT, rank is way more important than marks. So, don't burden yourself with worrying about your marks or cut off. Your rank matters the most.

Hi Jitendra, your college depends on the course that you are opting for. It also depends on the subjects that you have appeared for in CUET. In CUET, rank and percentile matters more than marks. If your percentile is above 90, then you are good to go for most colleges. For courses like BA Hons, B.Com Hons, you have to score higher marks. For BA Program, B.Com Program, you can get admission with lower marks and BSc requires some of the lowest marks. If you want to pursue BSc, then you might even get North Campus Colleges, if not in first round, then in others. If you are aiming for BA Hons, then the admission might be difficult but not

Unfortunately, with a rank of 9225 in IISER IAT, admission to any IISER is improbable. In 2023, the lowest rank accepted for IISER was 2329 in the general category, and the candidate was offered admission to IISER Berhampur. Achieving a higher rank is essential for securing a seat in the IISERs, as admissions are highly competitive. Aspiring students should aim to perform exceptionally well in the IISER IAT to increase their chances of getting into their desired IISER campus.

If you are preparing for IISER IAT again next year, all the best.
