The college is simple like any other university but the campus life will be different and you will definitely like it.

Professor Rajendra Singh University (PRSU) or PRSU Prayagraj formerly known as Allahabad State University is a UGC-approved state university. It has 562 affiliated colleges which are spread in all major districts of Uttar Pradesh. The main university in Prayagraj (Allahabad) is spread in the area of 120 acres which includes departments of Ancient Indian History, Political Science, Economics, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Hindi, Sociology, Commerce, and Social work.

Allahabad State University (PRSU) offers around 1105 courses at UG, PG and Doctoral levels. These are offered in disciplines of Social Sciences, Humanities & International Studies, Engineering, Commerce and Management. Admissions to the UG and PG programme at PRSU are based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying exam or Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by PRSU. PhD programme admissions at PRSU Prayagraj is based on the entrance test and Interview conducted by the University.

The University of Cincinnati has an admissions rate of more than 85%, and each year it admits more students across its various departments. This means out of 100 applicants 85 will be accepted for admission. To get into UC, aspirants need to fulfill the eligibility requirements and ensure that they have competitive scores in English language proficiency exams and standardized tests. Apart from this, the admissions committee gives equal importance to a candidate’s full profile. Thus, a student’s academic record, teacher/professor recommendations, test scores, and application documents, all play a major role in convincing the admissions committee. 

 UG courses

UC accepts your application through the Common Application portal. If you do not meet the English language eligibility requirements, you can apply through either Accelerated College English (ACE) Program Application or International Conditional Application.

PG courses

You can apply for any graduate programme through the university’s application portal.

Step 1: First, you need to create an account by registering as a first-time user.

Step 2: Once you log in, you can start your application by clicking on the ‘Start New Application’ button.

Step 3: A pop-up will appear with a dropdown option to select the application type. Select the appropriate one and click on the ‘Create Application’ button.

Step 4: Ensure that all seven key sections are filled before reviewing and submitting your application.

The main goal of Allahabad University is to give students as many chances for employment as possible. All placement-related activities and events at Allahabad University are managed by the campus' University Placement Cell (UPC). The University of Allahabad's placement cell ensures that many students are hired by a variety of firms with competitive salaries. The University Placement Cell of Allahabad University offers students training in soft skills, personality development programmes, workshops, and active participation of all stakeholders, among other things. The University of Allahabad's placement cell seeks to promote awareness of current and pertinent internship and employment opportunities while assisting with both on- and off-campus placement prospects.

According to the Allahabad University NIRF placement report for the academic year 2020–21, 409 out of 4856 undergraduate students were placed in various organisations with a median salary of Rs. 4,20,000, while 3712 students opted for higher studies.

From the third year you are eligible for placements onwards, companies like Infosys, Wipro etc. make many offers the highest package. I think the lowest is 2lakhs LPA. about 50%student get placements in BTech, my plan after getting the degree is to do Masters from this college.

Internships usually depend upon each department and its faculty members. Sometimes students themselves get enrolled themselves in reputed companies for internships and training opportunities and sometimes department HOD themselves take the responsibilities and enroll the whole class for internships.

Companies like Infosys Wipro are interested in internships and giving you higher packages, but it's not the best college for placement but good for placements, at least u get an UG degree and can prepare for GATE or IIT jam exams

Note: Early Action gives applicants priority consideration to the university’s more competitive programs. Students aiming for UHP also need to apply by this deadline to be considered for Honors.

Graduate programs are also offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer Intakes. Check the respective department website to know which course is offered during which intake and their deadlines. Graduate aspirants can avail department-specific financial assistance through fellowships, assistantships, and scholarships. Contact the respective college or department to know more about the type of assistance available for international graduate students. International undergraduate students are considered for the UC International Scholarships by default.

UC offers two merit-based scholarship award opportunities – UC Global Scholarship and International Outreach Scholarship. There is no separate application process for this as all completed applications are considered for these scholarships. Students are notified if they qualify for a scholarship at the time of their admission. For students applying to Uptown Campus, the average combined scholarship amount awarded is USD 8,000 per academic year, which they can avail up to four academic years (USD 32,000). A first-year (freshman) can renew the scholarships up to eight academic semesters. A transfer student can renew it up to four or six academic semesters (as per programme duration). To be considered for these scholarships, a student needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria and test score requirements:

Yes, Allahabad University offers hostel facility to its students. Admission to Allahabad University hostel is made out of the merit lists drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test of the respective courses. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria set by the university before applying for hostel. The basic eligibility criteria is that the a candidate should be a regular student of a degree course of the university. UC is home to over 46,000 students from 50 states and 115 countries, out of which more than 3,500 students are international aspirants. The Graduate School has a diverse community of students representing 89 countries. According to UC, 20% of 11,000 graduate and professional students are international students. The international student body was 9% of students overall. There are now 47,914 students enrolled in the university's 14 colleges. This number includes 4,251 international students. The institution had the most international enrollment from a nation with 986 enrollments from India.
