It is better campus in some ways like :

Placements: As it comes to placement, placement depends on the student and how they respond to or react to the interview. As per the college, there is good training on the skills known as CLAD. And moreover, skills should be upgraded, even from the side of the student for good placements or interviews.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Some of the classes are air conditioned and some of them are normal classes. These classes have Wi-Fi and projectors. Classes are given based on the semesters. As it comes to food, there is not much variety and not much taste.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful and clarify all the doubts if students have them. End-of-semester exams are kind of tough but if you study, it will be very easy and Gitam mainly focuses on internals and mid-exams. This course is really good but very theoretical.

Overall it is good campus for learning.

Every year the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability all affect the qualifying cutoff scores for the GITAM Admission Test (GAT) at GITAM University. To get admission to a B.Tech programme at GITAM University, you'll need to meet the following requirements and submit the required documents:

Eligibility: You must have a minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA in your 10+2 exam, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. For CBSE and ICSE students, the minimum is 55%. 

Entrance exam: You must qualify for the GITAM Aptitude Test (GAT UG). The GAT is a standard test for admission to all GITAM campuses. The duration of the test is either 1 or 2 hours, depending on the course applied for. 

Application fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1,200. 

Documents: Submit the required documents, such as category certificates or mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard. You'll also need to provide a recent passport-size photograph and signature.

GITAM also recognizes the scores of Andhra Pradesh EAPCET and TS EAMCET for aspiring students. 

Yes, GITAM University has a policy regarding refunding fees; however, it is subject to certain rules and deadlines. In general, if a student leaves a program within a certain amount of time, the university will reimburse the fees in accordance with University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines. Generally, if the withdrawal occurs before classes begin, the full refund (less processing fees) is awarded; if it occurs after classes begin, the refund percentage will decrease depending on how many weeks the withdrawal occurs. Students must submit a formal request for a refund, and the university will process their application in accordance with the policy. Non-refundable elements may include admission and processing fees.

GITAM University normally does not grant direct admission to a Ph.D. program unless specific requirements are satisfied. A relevant master's degree (or its equivalent) with at least 55% of the possible points must normally be held by applicants. Admissions decisions are typically made based on results from national tests such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or GATE, or from the GITAM entrance exam (GURCET). Candidates who meet these requirements may not need to take the admission exam but they must still go through the interview procedure. Candidates with outstanding academic or research accomplishments may be eligible for direct admission to some programs but most applicants will need to go through the usual interview and written exam process.
