Hello, every state has right to form its own rules of admission particularly for government colleges or government aided colleges. Hence if Tamil Nadu government insists on nativity rules, nothing can be done about this. We all have to just accept it as it is. However if I may ask, why insist on Tamil Nadu colleges via TNEA. You can get admission in any number of deemed to be universities spread across India or private unaided colleges. Can you please think on these lines? Best wishes to you.

Hello Satish, it's very nice to SEE your desire that your son should be graduate engineer after completion of his Diploma. However doing it by correspondence course is not the answer. This is so since any professional courses are banned to be conducted via distance education. Best course for your son is to aim for AMIE as he pursues his job also. This is equivalent to degree in engineering for all purposes. Best wishes to you.

The CET rank is very huge so you cannot get good colleges for that rank and as you are general category student it is better for you to try the next year with full preparation and crack the exam with the lowest of the possible rank. Prepare for the exam from YouTube and Google only and don't refer to any textbooks as it is huge and costly. You have to have peace and calm mind for the exam.
