At Niagara College, throughout the course of their academic program, international students must keep their immigration paperwork and legal status in Canada up to date. Out-of-status students are not permitted to study or work in Canada. Only once you begin your studies in Canada are you able to begin working. Prior to starting your education, you cannot work. If the condition allowing you to work on- or off-campus is listed in your study permit, you are permitted to do so as an international student in Canada.
