BMS does not necessarily require gap explanation but depends from which institute or college you are doing it from. If you find applying to full time courses difficult you can check Annamalai University and IGNOU.

Yes, you can pursue a Diploma or even UG degree in mass communication. The institutes offering a course in Journalism or Mass Communication conduct an entrance exam, on the basis of which, your admission will be based. Most of the colleges ask for a minimum of 50% for pursuing LLB. But some of the universities also consider 45% and if you are from any Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Scheduled Caste (SC) background than it may go down more.
