In a major development, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has recently announced that Chartered Accountancy CA degree holders will be considered equivalent to Post Graduate degree holders. Moreover, All the major Professional courses in the field of commerce I. e. CA CMA, CS are now considered equivalent to Post Graduate degree. Cpt and ipcc were in the old course, in the new course, you have three levels
-The first is CA foundation
-The second is CA intermediate
-and the third is CA final
as you have completed your B.Com you can directly appear in intermediate
After clearing intermediate you can apply for articleship, generally the articleship period is around 2 years.
