A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Class XII (any subject) followed by training in polytechnics and vocational training centers or Montessori Teacher training schools
Class XII (any subject) followed by diploma in education or Bachelors in education (B.Ed) Graduates of Home Science also serve as primary teachers
Class XII (any subject) followed by B.Ed. degree after graduation. These are Trained Graduate Teachers(TGT's) and after Post-graduation are Postgraduate trained teachers(PGT's).This training is imparted in teacher's training colleges. Correspondence/distance education courses are meant for serving teachers only
There are separate institutions for special teachers such as teachers of the blind, deaf and dumb, mentally retarded, craft, music, etc
Class XII followed by graduate and postgraduate degree with at least 55% or an equivalent grade to be eligible for eligibility test for lecturers (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC. The State level test SLET is for appointments within the state
Promotion is based on performance, duration of service, and research publications
