The one and most important benefit for taking Science after 10th is you can go in any field after 12th rather its arts or commerce but you can't go for Science courses with arts or commerce subjects. But, you should not consider this fact and go solely on your area of interest.
Both courses are important on their own part.

HiSneha, 80% is a good percentage and there is no provision to reappear in exams unless you have backlogs and there is no point in wasting one year, if you want to increase your percentage then you can secure better marks in the next semesters to increase the overall percentage of your B.Tech.

Yes, you can prepare for both exams, but you have to work hard for it. You can prepare for M.Sc after competing your CGL exam.
I would like to suggest you that SSC CGL exam is really close, so first you should focus on that. Try to solve previous year question papers and mock test papers of SSC CGL. You can learn short tricks to solve questions easily. You don't have much time to prepare. So, leave the topics which you have not started.
