University of Louisville has four campuses, Belknap campus, Health Science campus, Shelby campus, and the International campus. The Belknap campus has 12 academic colleges. It features the Student's Activities center, Rauch Planetarium and Lutz Hall which houses the departments of Sociology, Art, History, Anthropology, Geography, and Engineering. The Health Sciences campus is the main campus. It is home to two major hospitals and some specialty hospitals. This campus has a ten-story University hospital and a fourteen-story Medical Research Centre. The Shelby campus is spread over 230 acres of land. This campus has three buildings where all the seminars, events and competitions organized by the university take place. The university has decided to develop a research center at this campus. The fourth campus, the International campus is home to students of the MBA program.

The last date to apply for the CDS 2 2023 was June 6, 2023 and theapplication correction window for the CDS 2 2023 was closed on June 13, 2023. However, the candidaets will be able to fill out the application form for the year 2024 from December 20, 2023 to January 9, 2023. The application correction window will be activated for 7 days by theUnion Public Service Commission (UPSC). On the other hand, the CDS 2 2024 application window will be activated on May 15, 2024 and will close on June 4, 2023. 

The dates for the CDS 1 & 2 have been released by the UPSC through its exam calendar for the year 2024. According the UPSC CDS calendar, the CDS 1 2024 exam will be conducted on April 21, 2024 and the CDS 2 2024 exam will be conducted on September 1, 2024.

1) Principal’s Scholarship for Entrepreneurship:

Open to: Students who possess the entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to translate their visions into profit or non-profit enterprises.
Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where each applicant should include a history
of activities demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, from developing a project plan for a venture to actually having
owned and operated a small business. Applicants should also describe how undertaking the programme of their
choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Recipients of this award will be expected to act as
ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

2) Exceptional Career Scholarship:

Open to: Students with a proven outstanding career achievement that will
contribute to the peer learning experience by sharing their knowledge with the class.Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how their
extraordinary career experience has provided them with leadership potential. Candidates should also describe how
undertaking the programme will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Recipients of this award will
be expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

3) Women in Business Scholarship:

Open to: All female applicants who can demonstrate leadership potential in a
global business environment both with exceptional academic merits and an established track record of excellence in
their chosen career.
Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking
the programme of their choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also
describe how their academic merits and career success has provided them with leadership potential. Recipients of
this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

4) Academic Merit Scholarship:

Open to: Students who either attained outstanding results in their previous
academic programmes or achieved a very high GMAT score, while also demonstrating highly developed social
skills. From these students GISMA would expect valuable contribution to class discussions and team building.
Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking
the programme of their choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also
describe how their academic merits and social aptitude have provided them with leadership potential. Recipients of
this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

5) Rector’s Scholarship:

Open to: All Students with an exceptional academic or professional
background that will contribute to the diversity of the class and are willing to share their experiences for the benefit
of the class. In addition this scholarship might be granted to students from an otherwise underrepresented region or
nation.
Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking
the programme of their choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also
describe how their academic or career experiences has provided them with leadership potential and how their
intercultural skills will contribute to the international setting of the programme. Recipients of this award will be
expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

6) Family Scholarship:

Open to: Immediate and extended family of both current and former students,
including partners. Applicants must meet entry requirements of the programme to which they are applying.
Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking
the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describe
how their family member’s experience at GISMA affected their choice to apply. Recipients of this award will be
expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.
