There are plenty of colleges, good ones, in both these states. You can seek admission in any college in Maharashtra based on MHTCET or JEE Mains or JEE Advanced. While in Karnataka, for private colleges, you need to clear COMEDK.

Hi Prerana,
SAT means Scholastic Aptitude Test or Scholastic Assessment Test. It's an international level exam for study in abroad and there is no such eligibility criteria and SAT is conducted by private colleges and private universities.

There are plenty of colleges offering aeronautical engineering branch across India. But you can take admission only in either Maharashtra or CFTI's or perhaps prrivate colleges in Karnataka. You will have to appear for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, MHTCET or COMEDK.

For getting into any college in India for Masters in IT or any other course, you need to clear all your backlogs from your previous college. One might not have a good score in the previous college, but there shouldn't be any backlogs.
