Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a Professional Engineering Degree and the most important thing for doing this is, the candidates have to work in an Engineering organisation. AMIE Exam has two sections. Section- A has 4 subjects. Section- B has 9 subjects. The first student has to PASS all 4 subjects of Section-A, then candidates will get admission to Section B. The rule while doing AMIE is, the student can appear for a maximum of 4 subjects at a time. So Candidates need a minimum of one attempt to PASS Section-A. But as there are 9 subjects in Section-B, even if the student clears 4 Subjects in a single attempt, candidates can clear a maximum of 8 Subjects in 2 attempts, So the candidates need a minimum of 3 attempts to PASS Section-B. So students need a minimum of 4 attempts I. e. 2 years to complete AMIE. After clearing any 5 subjects of Section-B, candidates will be eligible for doing Project work & Practicals. So this project work and Practicals, candidates have to do simultaneously. The Institution is providing maximum of 6 years I. e. 12 attempts to clear Section-A and another 6 years to clear section-B. Thus the institution provides a maximum of 12 years to clear AMIE. AMIE Exam Tips and Strategy:
1- For the AMIE Exam study regularly.
2- Improve proficiency in English .
3- Try to clear concepts in every subject.
4- If you have time join the study group.
5- Practice designing.
6- Try to write your notes.
7- Give mock tests for AMIE Exam and SEE your level of preparation or analyze your preparation.
8- Try to solve the maximum number of previous exams paper. I hope this will help you.
