There is no such limit to study particular number of days. You can study it in parallel with your course. Machine learning is not a different subject. It is also related to computer Science. Nowadays it is added as a subject in your CSE course. Few universities are providing machine learning as a different branch.
A machine learning engineering curriculum takes about six months to finish. It may take longer if the person has no prior experience in computer programming, data science, or statistics.
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline is required for most machine learning engineering positions. However, whether or not a person is hired for a machine learning engineering position is largely determined by whether or not they have the necessary expertise, experience, and project portfolio to demonstrate that they can execute the job. As a result, it is not uncommon for someone without a degree to get hired if they can demonstrate relevant experience.
It's also extremely rare for applicants with degrees in subjects unrelated to machine learning engineering to reskill either through short courses, online bootcamps, or self-study in order to gain the necessary skills and expertise and start a career in machine learning engineering.
