No, students cannot get direct admission to the university. It is compulsory to attempt the CUET exam. It is one of the primary entrance tests to enroll in university. In 2003, the university made this important rule for taking admissions. If students need to be admitted to the UG program, they must attempt CUET and score good marks. The minimum qualification for class 12 is a 45% score. At the same, students looking for Ph.D. admission also need to take the PGAT entrance exam.

If you compare it from any state government university in terms of placement then it is a pretty good college, in fact, it is also better than some of other private colleges. I don't have an exact idea about which type of companies or association visit the campus for hiring. But as far as I know, some of the students of Dolphin (B.Sc) get placed in institutions like Allen Carrier Institute as faculty.
