Hello Kaveri,
This institute has great reputation and due to this only they have been able to spread their presence in many states in India. Aerospace Engineering, unfortunately, does not have too many options for placements in India. In addition, typical government organization like DRDO or ISRO have their own exam. But, four years from now, I am sure there will be enough opportunities for placements in this branch.

Private sector, big MNCs, the huge fortune 500 companies, different financial services, various consultancies and management firms have great opportunities for high class professionals. Your profile looks good for most of the colleges. An average Indian applicant applies with GMAT score of 700. However, a top ranked college will not hand out a 100% scholarship (it is very rare). Colleges ranked lower than 50 would be more willing to give you a good scholarship. Some things are extremely important to consider tho:
1. Your background is IT and so is the most of the applicants. You need to depict something extraordinary in your work experience. A lot of people apply with 2 years of work experience from IT MNC.

You do not need CET for the distance program, but it will be required if you wish to pursue MBA in HRM in regular mode through colleges accepting CET. The exam will depend on the college eg. BVP CET, MAH CET, etc.
