The selection process of SBI PO comprises prelims exam, Mains exam, psychometric test, group exercises & interview. Final selection is done based on the Mains exam and group exercises and interview. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit. The prelims exam is only to screen candidates for the Mains exam. SBI PO prelims exam is conducted for 100 marks. The test paper carries questions from English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam carries both subjective and objective type questions. Total marks allotted to the mains exam are 250. The Group Exercises and Interview carries 50 marks.

The age limit for applying to SBI PO was between 21 and 30 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved category.The educational qualification prescribed for SBI PO is Graduation. Final year Graduation candidates can apply provisionally provided they need to submit the pass Certificate of degree exam at the time of interview. Candidates holding Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) can also apply. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant can also apply.There are also restrictions in the number of attempts. The number of attempts for General category is 4, General (PwD) category is 7, OBC is 7, OBC (PwD) is 7. There is no restriction for SC/ST (PwD). Candidates with a record of default in repayment of loans/ credit card dues / or against whose name adverse reports of CIBIL or other external agencies are available are not eligible for appointment.

NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the exam date on September 19, approximately eight months in advance. NTA has decided the exam date after much deliberation and assessing situations such as Board exam schedule, other exams, etc. Over the past few years, NEET exam date was delayed owing to the pandemic situation, which affected the overall academic calendar. Quantitative Aptitude/Maths is an important and scoring section in SBI PO exam. This section appears in both prelims and Mains exams. So candidates must be thorough with all the basic concepts, tips, shortcuts and important formulas of this part. Questions in this section are asked from Simplification, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Surds, Indices, Time, Distance, Work, Time, Ratio, Proportion, Percentage, Data Interpretation, Number Systems, etc. In the prelims exam, a total of 35 questions are asked. The total marks allotted to this section are 35. In the mains exam, a total of 35 questions are asked. Total marks allotted to this section are 60. Candidates can score good marks in this section by solving the previous year question papers, practicing mock tests, learning the shortcut tricks of solving questions, etc.

Typically, NEET applicants must be at least 17 years old.
