No. To which RIE you are eligible is decided by your state. During application, automatically you will be given the RIE after filling the state column. If you are from Odisha, you can apply for RIE Bbs but if you are from Andhra Pradesh, you are eligible for RIE Mysore, if you are applying for the same course present in both th Rides. As you have applied in RIE, BBS, you can't apply in RIE, Mysore. If you are applying for a course which is provided in any specific RIE, you will be applying for that specific RIE.

As you have applied only for COMEDK but not for university-gauge, it will not create any problem for you while getting admission as university-gauge has very less number of universities registered under it, that too are new ones. All the reputed colleges are COMEDK only.

In Biomedical Engineering, you can get various type of jobs like Sales Engineer, Service Engineer, Application Specialist, R&D Engineer, Design Engineer. But these job profiles are nothing when compared to the mechanical engineering scope as mechanical is a core branch and Biomedical is a specialized branch.
