If you mean TNAU affiliated colleges, UG application windows usually open May–June, right after TN +2/CUET announcements, with counselling in June–July. For PG/PhD, windows shift a bit later. Bookmark TNAU's official admissions page and enable notifications; dates move slightly each year. Prepare community/EWS certificates, transfer, conduct, migration, and nativity documents early; missing one paper is the #1 reason students lose their round.

At Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme is affordable and popular. The annual fee for general category students is approximately ten to fifteen thousand rupees per year, while OBC, SC, and EWS students often get fee concessions as per state norms. The course runs for three years with multiple subject combinations, offering both core and elective subjects. Admission is primarily merit-based on Class 12 results, and the counselling or application forms are usually released between June and July for the new academic session.

NCAT typically tests Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability/Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, and sometimes General/Business Awareness or Coding basics—but the exact mix varies by organiser. Strategy: (1) Download the official brochure/mock paper; (2) Solve CAT/CMAT style quant & LRDI sets, plus RCs and grammar; (3) Time yourself, sectional speed matters more than raw knowledge; (4) Revise ratios, percentages, SI/CI, PnC, probability, geometry, arrangements, syllogisms, and puzzles. Keep one compact formula sheet and two full mocks in the final week.

With a rank of 54,176 in VITEEE, you might not secure top branches like CSE, IT or AIML at Vellore campus under Category 1 or 2. However, you have chances of getting branches such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Biotechnology, or Electronics and Communication in higher categories (Category 3/4). Alternatively, you may secure better branches at Chennai, AP, or Bhopal campuses. You can upgrade your branch internally in the second year if your CGPA is high. Be prepared for slightly higher tuition fees in higher category seats.

At around the ninety-second percentile (rank ~ seventy to eighty thousand), NITs/IIITs for CSE are hard, but lower demand branches (Civil, Metallurgy, Production) at select GFTIs or newer NITs may open in later rounds, especially with home state/category leverage. Strong private options: IIIT Hyderabad excluded, but Thapar (via its own process), VIT (VITEEE), Manipal (MET), Amrita (AEEE), SRM (SRMJEEE); state colleges via COMEDK, MHT CET, WBJEE, REAP, etc. If flexible on branch/campus, lock a good institute brand first, then branch change/minor/specialisation later.

Pandharpur, though smaller in educational offerings, has a few reputed colleges for MBA such as Shri Vithal Education and Research Institute's College of Engineering (MBA department) and V.P. Institute of Management Studies and Research nearby. These colleges are usually affiliated with Solapur University and accept MAH-CET, CAT, CMAT or direct admissions under management quota. Fees are relatively moderate, ranging from one Lacs to one and a half Lacs rupees per year. Facilities include good faculty, computer labs, and campus placement opportunities with regional companies. Early registration is recommended due to limited seats.

For rank of 183678 in VITEEE you can apply for VIT campuses in different states such as Bhopal, Chennai, AP, Vellore etc.
Getting CSE at Vellore and Chennai is tough as it closes at about rank 25000 and 42000 but you can go for core branches.
