Your expected JEE Main rank is above 19000. While for admission in NITs, The rank should be below 2000. hence the admission chances for NITs and SPAs are very less . However your friend have another chance for improvement in April-2020. So ask him to improve his JEE Main percentile up to 98 for better options.

UG Level: Candidates should clear class 12th in any stream with minimum 50% - 60% marks from a recognised board.
