1. JEE Main: Admission is open for candidates who have qualified JEE Main and the university also might take JEE Main score in to consideration for the Admission process.

2. University Entrance Test: For students who do not write JEE Main, they use their entrance examination to admit students to BSDU. It tests the knowledge in area-titles such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

3. 12th Class Marks: Candidates with 50 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 12th level are also allowed to apply under merit quota.
