SLNIMS is one of the good and reputed colleges in Pondicherry. But just like any other college this also has its own pros and cons, therefore to call it the "best" college is subjective and depends on various factors such as your educational needs, courses you want, and other personal preferences.

Well just like any other University SLNMS does provide its students a decent facility of placement. But it does not give a 100% placement guarantee. Also, the course which you are in will decide the opportunities available to you. So I would suggest to not completely rely on their placement cell for a job security, give your efforts to explore other places as well.

As of now we have no idea about the latest cut off for the course. And I would suggest that you should regularly check their websites for the release of merit lists. To get an approximate marks cut off I would suggest that you either ask your seniors or some educational places such as coaching centers abouyt the past cut off and merit list system.

SLNIMS means Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Science and can be considered a tier 2 medical college. Though it is an esteemed institution with satisfactory infrastructure facilities and faculty members, it lacks the same grade of reputation; opportunities for research or academic excellence as AIIMS or top government medical colleges do. Still, SLNIMS could be a great choice for students who want to pursue a career in medicine but cannot get into any tier 1 college. Medical students looking for a good quality education would find SLNIMS one among them because they might have missed out on getting admission in a tier 1 institu

The eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS course at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Science (SLNIMS) is based on NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) results. This is because the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Medical Council of India (MCI) mandates NEET as a test for entrance into MBBS courses in India. On this ground, it’s a must that you pass NEET to be considered for MBBS enrollment in any hospital like SLNIMS located on Indian soil. In fact, the Institute sticks to NMC and MCI dictates concerning medical admissions, hence an applicant’s place on the medical programme only relies on NE
